Keynote Presentation - Mr. Larry D. Thornton, author of Why Not Win?

Larry D. Thornton was the first African American to own a McDonald's franchise in Birmingham, AL, the first to serve of the board of directors of one of the country's largest Coca-Cola bottling companies, to serve on First Commercial Bank's board, and the first to be named president of the legendary The Club. Educated at Alabama State University, Thornton has forged a path of groundbreaking achievements. Along the way, he developed a personal strategy for resiliency and success that he now shares with others who want a better, more fulfilling life.
